My favorite restaurant at the beach! Voyagers always creates a wonderful experience. Voyagers has a full range menu that is sure to please meat lovers and vegetarians alike! The atmosphere is great, not to mention the view of the beach is breathtaking. The service is always impeccable and the servers are very friendly! Voyagers is a wonderful place to enjoy food and beverages, share deep laughs, and create lasting memories:).

Made reservations for a special birthday dinner. The food was not only scrumptious, it was also beautiful. Many thanks to the entire staff of this lovely fine dining restaurant, especially Maria. You all know how to put the icing on the cake! We went "whole hog". We started with an incredible local cheese plate. The birthday girl chose a gorgeous watermelon and crab claw salad and paired this with a beautifully plated filet and lobster tail. My selection was equally yummy with a lemongrass tofu and butter lettuce salad followed by the day's catch - redfish grilled with gulf coast shrimp and perfectly cooked basmati rice. Maria also recommended a St Supery Sauvignon Blanc, which paired very nicely with fish. All this and a piece of six-layer fresh coconut cake and Brazilian coffee. Oh my.... PS we liked it so much went back the following night (smaller meal though). Why hassle with large, noisy groups when the Perdido Beach Resort has what we really want!

Me and a friend ate here on our last night of our trip. We heard great things about this place and we're staying at the hotel so decided to try it. It took quite a while for a waiter to acknowledge we were there. We both got the filet, one with crabmeat and one with jumbo shrimp. We had dinner reservations at 830pm, we got our food about 930pm. I'm guessing that's normal. We didn't entirely mind the wait, but I felt like that was long. The steaks were good, not the greatest I've ever had but ok. We both ordered a dessert to go which took another 15 minutes or so. By the time we got the check paid and left it was 10pm. We ate our desserts in the room and again they were just ok. Not really worth the price we paid for them though. So, in conclusion my opinion is this place is good, not great, takes quite a while, which is fine if you are prepared, but not sure it's worth the prices we paid.

A hard four or an easy three! I really wanted to like Voyagers after all my friends have given it rave reviews. I can see where in some aspects Voyagers out shines these lower LA restaurants. However, I've placed standards that Voyagers wished they had had! Ambiance, well it needs a lift and badly, Voyagers is old and needs updating. Service was good for a while and then it diminished. They do have good things on the menu, I unfortunately got an over cooked fish. But, I wanted the filet. As the filet looked great.

The appetizers were great, the wine selection very good but on top of it all Rico (our waiter) was simply top notch!!! What a guy. Highly recommend you ask for him'!!!!!

This was one of the best restaurants ever. We ordered the oysters and they came with an amazing house sauce. The lobster bisque was to die for, and the steak and lobster was amazing! We ordered a Cabernet that was the owners wine and it was delicious. Viktor gave us so many amazing recommendations - this was such a good experience - we will be back!

Had the Fruits of the Sea (aka seafood pasta). Absolutely the best seafood pasta I've ever experienced. Huge scallops, steamed lobster tail, shrimp and crab meat. Handmade pasta with a mushroom cream sauce. There was way more seafood than pasta on the dish! If you love seafood you gotta try this dish!!

My husband and I have been many times in the last 20 years - food is always excellent and service is amazing - someone suggested going prior to sunset and we agree- appetizers are one of a kind ( I can still remember some crab meat bourbon street from several years ago - yummy) I typically have a fish selection ( tonight I had stripped bass which was excellent) and am never disappointed- my husband usually has a red meat but tonight he had something they called fruits of the sea- he loved it - homemade pasta with a light cream sauce and all the sea yummies ( lobster, shrimp, big scallops, ect..,) at one time some foods were prepared table side (bananas foster and Cesar salad) that was a treat! They should do that again - Wine selection is best on the beach - save room for dessert - voyagers is HEADS above any place on the beach -

By far the nicest spot in the OBA/Gulf Shores/Perdido Key area. I've been a few times in the last couple of years and it's always an incredible experience. It was my go-to for a 30th birthday dinner 2 years ago. More recently, my fiance and I met some friends there last week to check out the renovations. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I ordered a fish taco entree with a special no-slaw request, they went above and beyond to make sure it remained a top notch dish. The chef even came out to see what I thought. One of my favorite things about Voyagers is that it's a great excuse to order a nice bottle of the Cain Cuvee from the resort's sister winery in Napa. So. Good.

Hoping for more. My boyfriend and I were excited to try Voyagers out, left disappointed. Our requested window seat wasn't available. Two waiters bickered over our table and ultimately led to very poor service, waited over an hour for meals, and my medium rare filet was cooked to medium bordering medium well. After the long wait, we elected to not send it back. My boyfriend also had to wait 45min for a glass of wine. The fried goat cheese was good and were the salads. Ultimately, not worth the price, even with groupon deal.

My husband and I were told that this place was the best fine dining in the area.....Giving credit where it is due.....the place had just under gone a very nice renovation ..... aesthetically it is a beautiful restaurant! We went on 2/21/15 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were seated on time for our 7pm reservation at a nice 2 spot table by the window. Water glasses were filled right away.....waitress came and introduced herself and took our drink order. at 7:17pm we are still waiting for our drinks.....a Crown Royal on the rocks and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc......I excuse myself to the ladies room and stop by the Maitre'd desk and inquire if our waitress went home and if he could possible check to see where she went.....7:22 I am back at the table and the Crown Royal is there but not the wine......7:35 the Maitre'd shows up with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and proceed to tell me "it may be a bit warm" but I have brought you some ice and the bottle is on ice now and should be cold soon.....REALLY??? Who serves their guests at a fine dining restaurant WARM WHITE WINE?? Then the menus arrive.....we order......and the salad arrives.....I am noticing we are the only table in view with out bread......so I flag down the waitress and ask and she says"Oh well yes you should have bread" And some one brings it about 5 minutes later......the entree arrives and my salmon is cold in the middle......not what I would call a great entree.......so I am thinking.......well the dessert has to be good right?? I noticed a 5 layer coconut cake on the menu earlier.......when the waitress returned to take our dessert selection she informed us that they only had 2 desserts tonight.....both ice cream desserts......needless to say......we asked for the check and left........and will never return.......we have dined all over the world and this is by far one of the WORST dining experiences we have ever had. We would not recommend it to anyone unless it was a free meal and you had no expectations! I struggle giving it a one star rating!! :( Carman T.

One of the worst meals I've ever had in this price range. I ordered Pollo Boursin. There was not a hint of Boursin. The sides were different than what was printed in the menu and I would have ordered something different given the choice. The gnocchi was extremely salty and completely inedible. Normally I don't send food back, but I just couldn't eat it. The server said the "chef" said this is how they come from the supplier. For $25-35 per entrée, one would hope to have chef prepared food...not frozen. The chicken was charred to a leather consistency. The only nice thing about it was the servers. Save your money and stick with Latitude.

Probably the nicest place to eat in Orange Beach that is overlooking the beach. They should offer Sunday jazz brunch here. The food is good not great but good. The portions are small but the prices are somewhat reasonable. Their wine selection is very small and not very good. The best thing about this place is the desserts! The decor is nice and the ambiance is very romantic and very quite. This place never fills up so don't worry about reservations. For entrees the Futti di Mare, snapper and grouper were all excellent. The ribeye is where it gets bad. It's not a typical ribeye but a heart of ribeye. Basically the trim all the fat and flavor away and you end up with a 9oz dry piece of meat. AVOID. The second night I tried the new york strip. Again AVOID. Stick with the seafood dishes they seem to do it well here. I also added the lobster tail enhancement "surf and turf" for $20. The lobster tail was small. The coconut cake was to die for! Overall, not a bad place to eat if staying in the resort and want to relax and have a meal over looking the water. The service was excellent.

This could have been 5 stars if my Grouper had not been over cooked. The fish was very fresh and flavorful but was slightly over cooked. Service was impeccable and the view was great. Our tab was $180 including tip and a decent bottle of Pinot Noir. Might seem pricy but I think it was worth it. The chocolate dipped strawberries at the end of the meal were a nice surprise. We plan to go back soon.

Dined at Voyagers in the Perdido Beach Resort last night and what treat! The view of the Gulf is stunning especially at sunset. The decor is elegant without being too stuffy for a beach location. The Maitre d, Eddie was gracious and accommodated a last minute increase in our party but still seated us near a window as requested. Our server, Kim was very friendly and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and made excellent suggestions from the wine list, which is extensive. We began with the seared scallops which were incredible. 2 of our group say they don't normally like seafood at all and even they agreed that the scallops were absolutely delicious. There were 5 of us dining and each had a different item from the menu. Everyone said their meal was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful too. We finished with a wonderful creme brulee and vintage port. It was a night to remember and although the price makes it a special occasion destination for us, it was well worth the price for gourmet fare and impeccable service. We will definitely return!

The atmosphere was very nice. The service was outstanding. Franz was very attentive, but never felt like he was hovering. He knew the menu and made some great recommendations. Both the gulf grouper and the frutte di mare were great. Great desserts. Overall just a great dining experience. We will be returning.

This our go to place for fine dining in Orange Beach and the only true fine dining in the area. We go several times a year and always have a memorable meal.. Eddie, the maitre d, is excellent in every way and really adds to the overall dining experience. We recently dined there with 4 friends, their first experience and they were highly complimentary. I ordered the grouper which was fantastic, perfectly cooked and beautifully served. The gumbo is award winning and it's easy to see why. Service is impeccable, food is excellent. During the summer hours at dinner there is still daylight for awhile so view of the gulf adds to the ambiance. We have dined here for years and never once had a bad meal. Food and service have always been top notch. We also really enjoy the Cain wine. Chef Hamme creates amazing dishes, very creative. Their wait staff are superbly trained and don't miss a beat, they are also friendly and give enjoyable service. Voyagers is THE place to dine!

The only place you should go for upscale dining in the OBA/Gulf Shores area. Been at least once or twice a year for as long as I can remember and have never had a less than spectacular dish or service experience. The best things about Voyagers: the service! (nicest waiters I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere, every time; kind & helpful but never overbearing/cheesy); the views (floor to ceiling windows, try to go around sunset); the unique salads with local ingredients; and the desserts (order more than one! soufflés-OMG. order them ahead of time as they take about 20 min to prepare). Go here for dinner and an experience. A classy restaurant that feels much nicer than anywhere else on the beach, but somehow isn't stuffy or over the top. It has a relaxing, romantic vibe and you won't be bothered by loud kids, waiting to be seated, or pushy waiters. You can even have a drink outside on the balcony at the hotel bar beforehand overlooking the pool and beach. Perfection.

Perhaps my expectations were too high for this restaurant. I went for a Cain Wine Dinner. I had high expectations because I knew that the owners of the hotel were also the vineyard owners of Cain. The positives, dinner was reasonably priced. They served the Cain Chardonnay which I can't get anywhere else. The negatives: The served all but one wine in water goblets. Maybe the fact that bothers me so much is that I drink to much wine, or it was again, because I had really high expectations because this was a Cain dinner at a property owned by the vineyard owners. I love all kinds of fish, but they served Cobia that at first I thought was off because it was not properly cleaned and they had left the bloodline in it. They were kind enough to make another one for me, and then I realized that this piece of Cobia was cleaned properly it was old. It was a shame, because it was paired with Cain's flagship wine. If I had not had the wine before I would not have liked it. I was told it was people don't usually pair red wine wish fish. This is the Gulf Coast, we do that all the time down here. I also didn't like the fact that one of the courses claimed to be "Kobe Beef". I don't think at the cost of the dinner, and the limited availability of actual "Kobe Beef" that has been imported from Japan that it would be possible for that to be "Kobe Beef". That's just one of my pet peeves. I like it when things are called what they truly are.

Voyagers is located in the Perdido Beach Resort which is about the best place in the entire area to spend some time. Unless you are staying at a luxury condo. I have been enjoying the Resort and Voyagers for a couple of decades now. Voyagers is a white linen restaurant and the only restaurant in Orange Beach that I wear a jacket to go to dinner. Not required but it is a classy place. The cuisine is always good and the service is attentive and never overbearing. It is a place to dine and to view the beautiful Gulf at dusk. At night you really don't see the water so make reservations prior to sunset. Eddie Soto is the maitre d' and he makes every visit enjoyable and you are thinking of your next opportunity to dine at Voyagers as you leave.

We celebrated our wedding night dinner here! It was exquisite! Perfect location for a quiet intimate dinner for my husband and our family. Oysters were amazing and the lamb was prepared perfectly! Kim, our server was a delightful professional. We can not wait to come back and visit soon!

This restaurant was very nice. Everyone was dressed up and all of the waitors were very polite and extremely nice. The food was good and very filling. The restaurant had a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and at the end they brought us chocolate covered strawberries. I was very pleased with this restaurant and would return.

Normally I am rather even tempered and well mannered when it comes to doing reviews. However in this case to heck with it. The so called manager of this "fine dining" establishment is a grade a jerk. He refused to provide the amenities as promised in the package my family purchased and was a rude arrogant son of a biscuit eater about it. How he can hold a job in the hospitality business is beyond me. Don't patronize thi place, at least until they can run off some of the deadwood.
